Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

Welcome to Image2Layer. By accessing image2layer.com, creating an account, uploading a file, starting a generation, or purchasing credits or a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Image2Layer provides

Image2Layer is an AI-assisted creative workflow service. Depending on the tool you use, the Service can separate a flat image into editable raster layers, create Photoshop-ready PSD exports, provide transparent PNG layers and ZIP archives, generate images from text prompts, or convert PSD files to JPG or PNG in the browser.

AI results are best-effort outputs. Image separation, background reconstruction, text reconstruction, layer naming, object boundaries, and generated imagery may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended use. Review all results before using them in production, commercial work, printing, animation, client delivery, or any other important context.

3. Accounts

You may need an account to use generation, history, billing, and download features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Use an email address you control. We may use it for verification, security notices, billing notices, support, and deletion requests. Do not sell, transfer, share, or automate accounts in a way that abuses credits, bypasses limits, or harms the Service.

4. Credits, subscriptions, and billing

Some actions require credits. The product interface may show the credit cost before you start. New accounts may receive trial credits, and paid plans or credit packages may be offered from time to time.

Credits have no cash value, are not a stored-value account, and may be limited by plan, expiration, abuse controls, or promotional rules. We may correct balances when credits are granted or deducted by mistake.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. If you cancel, you may continue using the paid access already purchased until the end of the current billing period unless the product interface states otherwise.

5. Failed jobs and refunds

If a generation fails before a usable result is delivered, Image2Layer normally does not charge credits or returns consumed credits automatically. Repeated cancellations, provider-side processing already in progress, abuse patterns, or technical edge cases may be handled differently to protect the Service.

Credits, subscriptions, and other digital purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered or made available. We may make exceptions for duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, missing credits, or failures caused by our systems. Contact support@image2layer.com with the account email and order details.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the images, prompts, files, and other content you upload, and of the results generated for you to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You give Image2Layer a limited license to host, copy, process, transform, display, and transmit your content only as needed to provide the Service, generate results, store history, offer downloads, provide support, enforce these Terms, and maintain security. This license includes sending relevant content and settings to infrastructure and AI processing providers acting on our behalf.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to upload and use your content. Do not upload confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive content unless you are comfortable processing it through an online AI service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate laws, regulations, sanctions, or third-party rights.
• Upload or generate child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content used to exploit or harm people.
• Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or deceive others.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other rights.
• Upload malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt systems.
• Scrape, resell, benchmark, reverse engineer, overload, or automate the Service in a way that bypasses product limits or builds a competing service.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, models, provider routing, or non-public APIs without permission.

We may refuse, block, remove, or fail to process content or jobs that appear to violate these rules, provider requirements, law, or platform safety limits.

8. Generated results and professional review

Image2Layer does not guarantee that layers are accurate, editable in every application, free from artifacts, legally cleared, or fit for a specific purpose. Text in images may remain raster pixels rather than editable text. PSD exports and layer ZIPs may depend on browser capabilities, file complexity, and third-party editor compatibility.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether they are suitable for commercial, legal, professional, or public use.

9. Service availability and changes

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. Features, prices, free credits, models, processing providers, file limits, speed, formats, and output quality may change over time.

The Service may be unavailable or slower because of maintenance, traffic, browser limitations, infrastructure issues, provider outages, or abuse-prevention controls.

10. Storage and downloads

The Service may store task history and generated files for convenience, but Image2Layer is not a backup service. Download and keep your own copies of important files. We may delete files or history for operational, legal, security, abuse-prevention, or storage-management reasons.

11. Intellectual property

The Image2Layer website, software, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying service technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service itself or permission to copy, resell, clone, or reverse engineer it.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, abuse credits or billing, submit prohibited content, or use the Service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Image2Layer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost business, or replacement-service costs.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Image2Layer for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing.

15. Governing terms and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without assuming a specific public business jurisdiction on this page. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any mandatory consumer rights under the laws that apply to you remain unaffected.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The updated date above shows the current version. Material changes may be announced through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
