MADE FOR YOUR NEXT DESIGN
Background coloration is a simple way to bring existing photos into the same visual style. Choose the color for the job, then keep the subject at the center.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TOOL
Use a photo of your own or generate a new background when a flat color is not the setting you need.
Open Background ChangerSeparate a transparent subject and reconstruct the original background when you need individual image assets.
Open Background SplitterOn this page, background coloration means replacing the area behind your photo’s subject with a solid color. Choose white, black, a preset, or your own HEX value; it does not recolor the subject itself.
Preparing a subject from an opaque photo costs 5 credits. Reusing that saved subject to try colors, save a solid-color image, or download it costs no additional credits. Uploads with useful transparency can skip the extraction fee after validation. Sign in to process and save your own images.
Yes. Use a six-digit HEX value to choose the background color. PNG is the best choice when exact flat-color pixels matter; JPG compression can slightly alter colors, especially near edges. Display color may also vary between screens.
It uses the normalized source image’s colors and an extracted transparency mask. It does not ask a scene-generation model to redraw the subject. Edges can still be imperfect, so inspect the result before using it.
Yes. If the image has useful transparency, the existing visible content is placed on your selected color without another extraction. Any unwanted visible content already in the PNG will remain too.
Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 24 MB, subject to image decoding limits. Large inputs are resized to a maximum longest edge of 1600 px. Download the finished solid-background image as PNG or JPG; this page does not export PSD or layer ZIP files.
Fine hair and thin objects may need manual cleanup elsewhere. Glass can retain the old scene’s color, and original shadows may be removed with the background. Automatic relighting, brush cleanup, and new shadow generation are not included.
Yes. Open History to restore a recent saved image and its subject, then try another color without extracting that subject again. Temporary color choices that you have not saved are not retained after refresh. Reuploading a file starts a new preparation; restore its subject to reuse it.
YOUR PHOTO. YOUR COLOR.
