PSD to JPG workflow
Add files, set the options and save every PSD as JPG in one go.
Drop, choose or paste up to 50 PSD or PSB files of up to 500 MB each, or load the three samples.
Quality 92 is the default. Transparent areas take the background you pick: white, black or any color. Size: 100%, 50%, 25% or a longest side.
Save each JPG as it finishes, or all of them in one ZIP. Every JPG carries the DPI saved in the PSD.
A JPG is one flat picture without layers or transparency. Here is what comes through exactly and what can differ.
Every rebuilt picture is flagged. To get Photoshop's own picture, turn on Preferences > File Handling > Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility and save again.
Layers to image
Every visible layer is merged into one JPG that opens on any phone, browser or app, ready to share, publish or send for review.

Five tips for JPGs that look right and stay small.
JPG keeps files small by dropping detail you rarely notice. 92, the default, suits websites and sharing; 100 suits print and archives; 80 or lower keeps email attachments and thumbnails light. To change the quality later, convert the PSD again rather than re-saving the JPG.
A JPG cannot store transparency, so every see-through pixel needs a color. White suits documents and marketplaces, black suits dark sites and slides, or pick your brand color. Soft edges such as shadows and hair blend into it smoothly.
100% keeps every pixel of the PSD; 50% halves the width and height, and a longest side of 2048 or 1080 px suits web pages and social posts. Every JPG carries the DPI saved in the PSD, so layout apps read the resolution you set in Photoshop. Files with 16 or 32 bits per channel become 8-bit, the only depth JPG supports.
Photoshop stores a finished picture in a PSD only when Maximize Compatibility is on. Without it, previews and many converters show a blank image. This converter rebuilds the picture from the layers and flags the file. For an exact match, set Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility to Always in Photoshop's File Handling preferences and save again.
The JPG shows the file as it was saved, so hidden layers stay hidden. To drop a layer or bring one back, press the eye button next to a file: it opens in the PSD viewer, where you click the eye icons, watch the picture update and save the view as JPG.
PSD TO JPG USES
Turn your PSD into a familiar image format for the places your finished work needs to go.
Drop your PSD or PSB files into the converter above, set the quality, background color and size, and press Convert. Download each JPG as it finishes, or all of them in one ZIP. No Photoshop and no account are needed.
Yes. There is no sign-up, no credit charge, no watermark and no daily limit. The conversion runs on your own device.
No. Your files are read and converted inside your browser and never sent to our servers.
Yes, up to 50 files per batch, each up to 500 MB. They are converted one after another with the same settings, and Download all puts every JPG in one ZIP.
Files saved without Maximize Compatibility hold no finished picture, so other tools show a blank. This converter rebuilds them from the layers and flags them; layer styles and adjustment layers are not drawn in a rebuilt picture. Re-saving with Maximize Compatibility on gives you Photoshop's own picture.
JPG has no transparency, so transparent and semi-transparent pixels are blended onto the background color you choose: white, black or any custom color. To keep transparency, use PSD to PNG.
Yes. PSB files and RGB, grayscale, indexed and bitmap files at 8, 16 or 32 bits convert, and CMYK files are converted to RGB by formula, close but not print-accurate. Lab, Duotone and Multichannel files are not supported yet.
Not with this converter, since a JPG is flat. Keep your original PSD. If you only have a flat picture, our AI Image to PSD tool can split it into layers and build a new PSD; that tool uses credits.
Need layers from a flat image?
These PSD tools are free and stay in your browser. When you only have a flat picture, our AI tools separate it into transparent layers and build a layered PSD. The AI tools run on our servers and use credits.
