Add your PSD files
Drop, choose or paste up to 50 PSD or PSB files of up to 500 MB each, or load the three samples. They are read on your device.
PSD to PNG converter
Convert PSD to PNG without Photoshop: drop up to 50 PSD or PSB files and save each as a transparent PNG, every layer as its own PNG in a ZIP, or both. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.
No PSD at hand?
PNG keeps transparency and the DPI saved in the PSD.

The whole image, every layer as its own PNG, or both, at 100%, 50% or 25% or a longest side you pick. Layer files can be canvas size or trimmed.
Save each file as it finishes, or everything in one ZIP with a folder per PSD. Each PNG carries the PSD's DPI.
If the PSD stores a full picture, your PNG is that picture. If it does not, the picture is rebuilt from the layers and the file is flagged.
Every rebuilt picture is flagged. To get Photoshop's own picture, turn on Preferences > File Handling > Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility and save again.
Layers to image
Save the finished design as one transparent PNG, or keep the pieces: every layer can come out as its own PNG, named after the layer.

Five things to know before you convert.
A PSD holds its layers and, when Maximize Compatibility is on, a full-size copy of the finished picture. This converter reads both in your browser. With the saved picture, your PNG matches Photoshop exactly; without it, the picture is rebuilt from the layers and flagged.
PNG has an alpha channel, so transparent pixels stay transparent and soft edges keep their partial transparency. Many designs have a white Background layer, though, and that layer is part of the picture. To drop it, open the file in the PSD viewer, hide that layer and save the view as PNG.
Every layer gives you a ZIP with one PNG per layer, named after the layer and numbered from the top like Photoshop's Export Layers to Files, in folders named after its groups. Canvas size keeps each layer in place on a full-size transparent canvas, so the stack lines up again in any editor. Trimmed cuts each PNG to its own pixels, handy for icons and cut-outs. Hidden layers are skipped unless you include them.
100% keeps every pixel; 50%, 25% or a longest side of 4096, 2048 or 1080 px make lighter files for the web and previews. The DPI saved in the PSD is written into each PNG. Files with 16 or 32 bits per channel are saved as 8-bit PNG.
Saved with Maximize Compatibility off, a PSD holds no finished picture, so system previews and many converters show a blank or white image. This converter notices that, rebuilds the picture from the layers and tells you. Masks, clipping, groups and blend modes come back; layer styles and adjustment layers are not drawn.
PSD TO PNG USES
Take a PNG export into your next layout. Transparency is preserved when it is present in the saved PSD image.
Drop your PSD or PSB files into the converter above, choose Whole image, Every layer or Both, and press Convert. The files are read in your browser, so you need no Photoshop, no account and no install. Download each PNG or all of them in one ZIP.
Yes. Converting PSD to PNG costs nothing: no sign-up, no credits, no watermark and no daily limit. The work happens on your own device, so there is no server cost to pass on.
No. Files are opened and converted inside your browser and never sent to our servers. Only the samples are downloaded from our site when you choose to load them.
Transparent areas of the PSD stay transparent in the PNG. If the design has a solid Background layer, that layer is part of the picture: open the file in the PSD viewer, hide the Background layer and save the view as PNG.
Yes. Choose Every layer (or Both) and you get a ZIP with one PNG per layer, named after the layer, in folders named after its groups. Pick Canvas size to keep each layer in place, or Trimmed to cut each PNG to its own pixels. Masks, opacity and clipping are applied to each layer file.
Yes. PSB (Large Document Format) files up to 500 MB open too, as do grayscale, indexed and bitmap files at 8, 16 or 32 bits. CMYK colors are converted to RGB by formula, so they are close but not print-accurate. Lab, Duotone and Multichannel files are not supported yet.
Usually the PSD was saved without Maximize Compatibility, so it holds no finished picture and the PNG was rebuilt from the layers. Layer styles, adjustment layers and some fills are not drawn in a rebuilt picture. Turn on Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility in Photoshop's File Handling preferences, save again and convert.
Yes, in a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Phones and tablets have less memory, so canvases are limited to 32 megapixels there (100 on a computer), and files over 100 MB are better converted on a computer.
